We accept consignments at the auction house and request that you contact us to make arrangements. Please call before bringing items so that you aren’t turned away. We do not accept consignments on the day of, or during an auction. Our commission rate is 25% for items dropped off at auction house. We also can pick up you items and commission rate will be adjusted accordingly. We also buy items directly, and may make you an offer depending on what you have. We will sort through all the items in your home or the estate and carefully prepare all the items for auction. A few days before the event, we will set up tables and price the items. The day of the auction we will sell all the auction items to the crowd that attends. If there is any remaining trash, we can clean everything up for you and give you an empty and broom swept home.
In most cases, it will take 2-4 weeks to schedule, sort, price, advertise and set up a Estate Sale. It is a preferred method of liquidation because professionals take on all the labor so families don’t have to and the sales typically attract buyers who are willing to spend more than garage sale buyers. Estate sales can be especially effective when clients have antiques, collectibles, jewelry and other items of value. Typically the sale last a weekend and at the end any items can sold as a group or sent to a charity of your choice.
Our services are reimbursed with a commission of your proceeds. These rates vary depending on the option you choose and the items be sold. On the initial visit we will discuss your different options and the advantages and disadvantages to all of them. We will also go over the available dates to find a day that is agreeable to both parties for the event.
