A type of antique iron strong box. These chests were popular in the 16th and 17th century particularly with the Spanish Empire. Used to store valuables or important documents. Features a complex, multi bolt locking mechanism. Heavy iron construction. Key is included but need pin straightened. Bullet hole on side. Condition is consistent with age and use, see pictures.
